Q's FAQ files: 20 arbit obs.
i was tagged by supervish some while ago..its a new kinda concept - playing rag-tag 
basically, i write down 20 things you dont know about me (or dont care about me either)..so here it goes
1. i love quizzes..something to do with me frequently losing in them. just cant digest the fact that i am usually a silent contributor...(euphemism for useless teammate)
2. i love reading books, obv. and the cheaper they are.. (naughty, naughty!! )..the better.
3. somehow, i always find the strains of Doolin' Dalton filling my mind with the image of the traders in Asimov's "Foundation Series" (Book 1, Chapter 3). something to do with the vast and lonely universe..i find the song so very apt for the situation.
4. the first music cassette that i bought was "Air Supply- Greatest Hits" for 100 bucks and when i rushed back to my room in Aligarh to listen to it..the power went off
5. i quit drinking at the ripe old age of 21..after sampling just about any kind of liquer available in India
6. my best friend at school, college and mba are all Leos
7. after 5 months of b-schooling..i've realised that i really dont want to do a MBA 
8. i am a obstinately competitive person..if in an exam..there is a toss up between doing a simple question and a tougher one..i would choose the latter. mostly, to my regret afterwards.
9. i can play only one song on a guitar.."Tujhe Dekha to yeh jana sanam" from DDLJ
10. I am sucker for beautifully used language..there are books which i love with an intensity which would be considered unnatural if it wasnt so ridiculous
11. i am mostly an unpopular guy in my class..be it school or college. dunno why
12. i used to play computer games till 4-5 in the morning in college..now of course, i cant.
13. it takes me 25 minutes in peak delhi traffic to reach my college..which is a landspeed record as yet unacknowledged by guinness, limca or the local soda-waala book of records.
14. i detest alcohol. i am much happier sipping coke or pepsi (in that order)
15. i dance horribly..shake in every dimension at the same time..luckily, because of the space-time warp aruound my considerable bulk..most people cant see me properly. hence they assume that i am a good dancer. which doesnt suit me at all.
16. my biggest regret in undergrad years is that i have never gatecrashed a wedding..something which i am told is an must-have experience. now of course, i get invited to all the weddings.
17. i once threw not one..not two..but three eggs at the dulha in a wedding procession..i was cheesed off at the loud music. if you are that dulha, i sincerely regret my juvenile attempts to ruin your nite.
18. the only book that i have read more than a 100 times is Catch22..( okey..i am kidding..its 50 )
19. i was a shy ...introverted bully at school 
20. finally, i really love Sprinsgteen's songs

@ranj ..if you get team-mates like Vishal or Aditya (buddy of mine at the college)..you end up staying silent :D

#1 i sure can identify with that. have this amazing knack of comming rock bottom AFTER qualifying for the finals.. public fool, see

Hilarious , BTW Some comments
#1 . U can gate crash into weddings in post graduation too.Come with me next time.
#2.All people who want to do MBA should consider this as the MBA axiom "after 5 months of b-schooling..i've realised that i really dont want to do a MBA "
